Photographer No.3- Reed + Radar

I have chosen Reed + Radar as one of my photograph as they are completely different to any other photographs which i have looked at and this is because focus on animation and interactive photographs.    This can be seen as multiple imagery as multiple images are needed to create an animation to then be played one after the other.

This first animation that was created by Reed + Radar creates the effect that the two models at each side are blowing the model in the middle therefore causing her hair to move. When looking at the model in the middle, you can see that only her hair is moving which gives the animation a unique and alternative look as in real like more than the models hair would move. when looking at the two other model, they move one after the other rather than at the same time. This allows the audience to focus at one model at time as they move at different times. A white background has been used which contrasts against the dark clothing which the model are wearing as well as allowing the audience to easily identify the movement in the models hair as it is only a small movement therefore having a clean, empty background makes it easier to be seen.
This second animation made by Reed + Radar shows three models running around a black box with gold hearts on it. The model are wearing different outfits however they share the same colour scheme which is black and gold. The models can be seen to be continuously running around in a circular motion as if they are almost worshipping the box in the centre which also moves up and down as they  run around it. When thinking about the way in which they are moving, it almost represents the nursery rhyme 'ring a ring o' roses' which may have been Reed + Radar inspiration for this shoot as it is hugely recognise by many people. On the other, the fact that they are wearing dark colours, this could be representing witches around a caldron  however this is down to the audience to interpret for themselves.
This third animation by Reed + Radar is slightly different from the others which i have looked at from their work. In this animation, we can see five model who are wearing bright, block coloured clothing which makes each model standout from one another. Each model had their own animation which shows a different movement however each model moves at the same time. This may seem confusing to the audience however the fact that the models are in a line and are wearing different coloured clothing, they will easily be able to see the different between each model even thou they are only making small movement such as blowing a kiss or moving their head from left to right. Lastly some of the models are placed closer to each other than others. The reason for this may be that the models who are making bigger movement have been given more space where as the models who are making small movement, don't need as much space therefore they can be closer to the other models.
This last animation by Reed + Radar is similar to the one above in the sense that it has  been placed in a line therefore it is easily to look at and doesn't get confusing at there are various shots of the same model which can seem busy to the audience. This animation is showing the same model is different outfit as well as allowing the audience to see a 360 degree shot of each outfit. All of the models outfits are black which contrasted against the white background and ensure that each outfit is the main focus of the animation. Lastly the fact that each outfit is shown one after the other, show that there is structure in the animation and it will be easier to look at for the audience.
I was influenced by Reed + Radar as i would now like now to incorporate animation into my work as part of multiple imagery. Also i would now like to see how i can combine both animation and multiple imagery into one for example creating an animated multiple imagery grid.

Overall i really like Reed + Radar work as it is unique and different from any other photographers which i have looked at. Also i really like how they make some of their work interactive which is something i feel may be too hard for me to do but i am willing to try.
