This is my final animation from this shoot. I began by taking a series of photographs of the scarf moving in different ways. I moved the scarf by attaching fishing line to the ends of the scarf and with the help of a friend they would move it will i took the photographs. This allowed me to get various different shots with the scarf in different places. When i came to editing the animation i began by choosing the best photograph(i opted for the ones which showed the most movement). I then layered them on top of each other to create the animation. I decided to use the tween effect as i felt that it made look more as if it was blowing in the wind which was the effect that i wanted.
If i was to do this animation again i would like to try and make sure that model does not move at all and only the scarf does because i was hard to find photographs where the model was in the same position because in many of them she had moved slightly which was apparent when changing between each shot. I could also try and make it more complex by having more than one thing moving such as her hair blowing in the wind as well as the scarf.
I was inspired to do this shoot as i still wanted to continue to look at different ways of doing animation but also through some research which i have done which was where i came across various different animation similar to mine and i thought that it would be something good to try. This meant that i would be able to gain more skills within animation such as tween which was something that i hadn't considered before.
Here are some of the animation which inspired me to do this shoot:
As a result of this shoot, i would to continue to look at animation however i would like to look at photographing an object such as a flower rather than a person. I would like to show the lifecycle of the flower by taking a photographs after i remove one petal at a time.
