In this shoot, i wanted to look at a different multiple images technique which was photo joiner. However i wanted to incorporate animation into it to make it more complex and to expand on my skills with animation. I wanted to begin with a simple photo joiner of a face and just animate one of the facial features such as the eye or lips. To create the animated photo joiner, i had got create two different photo joiners, similar to my previous shoot, which i would then layer on top of each other to create the animation.
Here are the two photo joiners which i created to begin with:

This is my final animation from this shoot. I began by taking close ups of each facial elements such as the eyes, nose, lips and cheeks. During the editing, i had to change the size of each individual image to then put to together to resemble the models face. In my first photo joiner, i made it so that both of the models eye were open and in my second photo joiner i made it so that both of the models eyes were closed. Then when laying them on top of each other, i was able to animate them changing from open to closed and closed to open. Also when editing this animation, i decided to make the photo joiner change to black and white when the models eyes were closed to resemble her eye being closed.
If i was to do this animation again, i would out the camera on a tripod when photographing the eyes to ensure that there is no movement between each shot as i found it hard to make sure that only the eye moved.
I was inspired to do this shoot from my personal shoot no.2 as i wanted to continue to look at unique ways of using animation in multiple images therefore i decided to combine a photo joiner and an animation to make something which i hadn't seen before.
As a result of this shoot, i would still like to continue with animation however i would like to focus on movement as this is something which i have liked within my research. Here are some of the examples which i have found.
